Chatty beach is a tranquil beach situated on the island of Kayts in the Jaffna peninsula.
Due to the islands ringing the Jaffna peninsula and the shallow sea, the Chatty beach has hardly a ripple and feels like you are swimming in a lake rather than the sea.
The water is crystal clear and filled with little fish. There are summer huts alongside the beach and basic facilities are available for those who wish to spend a quiet evening dip in the Jaffna sea.
